This is a place to share awesome adventures from around the world. Whether it is scaling the peaks of the Andes Mountains, diving in the Caribbean or bush walking in my own backyard (Australia).
I’m Anne, born in Sydney, Australia. If you’ve read some of my blog posts, you’ll notice that most of them are about travel and photography, they are my biggest passions in life.
Photo of me taken in Patagonia, Chile.
My story begins at my six month review at my first job after graduating university. My manager asks ‘What are your goals in life?’ I hesitated and replied that it was my dream to move overseas, I was never one to hold back the truth. Instead of disparaging me, he encouraged me to take the leap and helped me to set out a plan. Two years later, I packed an 18kg suitcase, with all my camera gear in tow, and moved halfway across the world to London. Since then I have travelled around the world, documenting my adventures on camera.
Although I enjoy adventure and the great outdoors, I have to admit that I wasn’t always like this. I used to cower away behind my computer, gorged out on cereal late at night and watched trashy US dramas. Well… I still do that sometimes, but I’m less vitamin D deficient nowadays! 😀 I hope my stories and photos will inspire people to get out of their homes and enjoy the beautiful world that we live in.
I would love to visit these awesome places in the future:
India, Nepal, Alaska, Russia, Vietnam, Greenland, Fiji, Madagascar, Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Antartica
When I’m on the road, I bring:
- Nikon D600 body
- 17-35mm 2.8f Nikkor lens (wide-angle zoom lens)
- 70-300mm 4.5-5.6f Nikkor lens (telephoto lens)
